WebMD Health Services has a brand new look and feel and we can’t wait to share it with you. In this blog post, we’ll take you behind the scenes of our recent brand refresh which positions us for our next exciting chapter and the much-anticipated integration of Limeade.
A good brand isn’t static. It evolves over time to reflect a company or product’s changing interests, values and mission. The recent brand makeovers of Dunkin’ and Meta (Facebook) come to mind.
WebMD Health Services is no different. We’re on a mission to empower organizations and their populations to improve well-being through personalized, strategic partnerships. We need a brand that can support us at this critical point in our growth, and help us prepare for the next phase of our strategy—including the integration of Limeade, an immersive employee well-being company.
Steve Jobs, founder of Apple, once said, “It is a complicated and noisy world, and we’re not going to get a chance to get people to remember much about us. No company is. So we have to be clear about what we want them to know about us.”
We’re confident that our refreshed brand conveys exactly that.
A fresher take on a classic logo.
Our new logo still emphasizes that we’re a part of the trusted WebMD family of brands. But we’ve brightened up the blue and made “Health Services” a bit more prominent. Simply put, it’s a fresher look that we’re excited to show the world.
Trust is a key element of the WebMD Health Services brand.
A brand is about more than just a logo. A brand captures the experiences and feelings that clients have when they interact with us. During our rebranding effort we conducted blinded interviews to learn what clients value most.
Trust was a big one. The fact that we are part of the trusted WebMD brand is often why clients are drawn to us in the first place. But, it’s what we do after clients choose to work with us that makes them stay.
Clients shared that our collaboration, thoughtful and comprehensive approach, and ability to make personal connections sets us apart from the competition. Knowing that, we’ll continue to put customers first; focus on real, human connections; operate with integrity and credibility; and drive innovation to keep up with the ever-changing world of well-being.
