Andrea Herron joined WebMD Health Services in 2017, bringing a wealth of HR expertise from various sectors ranging from manufacturing to non-profit organizations. As the leader of our Human Resources function, Andrea is dedicated to developing and executing innovative HR strategies that drive organizational success. Her previous role as Vice President of Human Resources at the Oregon Humane Society saw her adeptly aligning business strategy with HR initiatives, ensuring a supportive culture for organizational growth and employee engagement.
An accomplished author, Andrea penned “There’s an Elephant in the Office” and has contributed insightful articles to esteemed publications such as Harvard Business Review and SHRM. Her thought leadership extends to the stage as a keynote speaker and the airwaves as the host of the award-winning HR Scoop Podcast. She is recognized globally for her ability to integrate HR strategies with business objectives, utilize data-driven insights, and foster leadership development.
Andrea attained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Western Kentucky University. She holds certifications from PHR and SHRM-CP, is a S+EI Coach, a Personalysis Facilitator, and has won various awards including being a Top Women in Wellness and HR Award (Ragan), Top Leader in DEIB Award (Mogul), a Change Agent (American Healthcare Leader), and is a two-time DisruptHR Speaker.
